Doorstep, Inc.
Doorstep, Inc. is an emergency aid agency. They have been helping families and individuals in need since the tornado in 1966 which is the cause for which they were initially established. Services provided are: food, clothing, rent, utility, prescription and transportation assistance. Doorstep is primarily supported by 52 interfaith member congregations coming together to help people on their own 'doorstep' within our community.

Let's Help is committed to inspiring hope, promoting success and changing lives. They provide a range of services including: emergency groceries, clothing and financial assistance for rent, utilities and medication; education and GED preparation for adults and older youth; employment assistance (including a program especially for adults 55 and older); preschool education; and a variety of community food programs.

American Red Cross
People depend on the American Red Cross following a disaster such as a tornado, flood and residential fire for temporary shelter, food, clothing and other basic items, as well as counseling to help them cope. The American Red Cross encourages people to be prepared in advance several ways and by considering the types of disasters possible; make a disaster plan that can be used by families and individuals that includes route of evacuation and location to reunite, relatives' phone numbers, school and work phone numbers and their disaster policies; to build a disaster kit of emergency supplies; to take first aid training; to volunteer to help others; and to donate blood.

RILEY COUNTY HISTORICAL MUSEUM
