Receiving KTWU
KTWU operates on channel 11 (198-204 MHz) with an effective radiated power of 316,000 Watts visual and 31,600 Watts aural. KTWU transmits from a 950 foot tower located at 301 North Wanamaker Road in Topeka, Kansas. K30AL operates on channel 30 (566-572 MHz) with an effective radiated power of 12,543 Watts. K30AL transmits from a 500 foot tower located 2 miles east of Moran, Kansas. KTWU broadcasts each day's programming in stereo sound. Some of KTWU's programs are transmitted with closed captions for the hearing impaired and Descriptive Video Service for the visually impaired.

KTWU DT
Broadcasting on digital channel 23 at 524 to 530 megahertz and current effective radiated power of 815 kilowatts from the broadcast tower located at 301 Wanamaker Road in Topeka, Kansas. As authorized by the Federal Communications Commission. KTWU DT is owned and operated by Washburn University with studios located at 19th and Jewell on the Washburn University campus.
KTWU DT is a member of the Public Broadcasting System (PBS) same area.
